The State Land Board owns land or mineral estate in 60 of 64 Colorado counties. Our agency is proud to be the primary funding source for the Colorado Department of Education's Building Excellent Schools Today (BEST) program. BEST awards competitive grants to school districts for capital construction grants. All 64 counties are home to a BEST school!
